What is HADAU?
Urban Crofters Church partners with Morphē Arts to host an Exhibition and a Conference to gather and deepen the conversation of arts and faith in Wales. (Hadau translating as Seeds in English)
 
This was an open exhibition on the theme "Is it finished?"
Lois Adams and Prue Thimbleby selected 22 artists from across Wales to show work at Urban Crofters Church.  The artists all responded to the question "Is it finished?'. The responces tackled issues of the environment, humanity, culture, personal development, spitiuality, grief and loss as well as the practical understanding of a finished artwork and the tension of the imperfect.  See selected work between 1st March - 7th May 2025 or online: www.hadau.cymru/exhibition
 
On the 1st of March, the exhibition was firstly opened by a family-friendly drop-in workshops, hosted by some of the selected artists, making the artwork acessable to every age.  In the afternoon HADAU hosted a dinner for the selected artists, followed by the Opening Night with speeches and performances. 
 
In addittion HADAU host a day conference on the same theme; "Is it finished?" with various speakers from all different art practices. See more info here: www.hadau.cymru
