Who We Are.

EOS COLLECTIVE is a group of artists of Christian faith. They come alongside churches to support them in their evangelistic outreach to their communities. They use the Creative Arts and the imagination as a bridge to share the Good News to the people of Wales.

EOS is the Welsh name for the Nightingale.

The bird’s uniqueness is that it sings in the night as well as the day.

In May 2024 Lio Cheung joined and established EOS Collective with Lois Adams who already had a small Creative Evangelism ministry in Wales.  Together with other artists their projects grew more ambitious and are shown all over Wales. They are both committed to their local church and Morphe Arts Cymru.

Some of EOS Artists are supported financially by their local churches, charities, trusts and individuals, whilst other artists are volunteers. We endeavour to offer our services free of charge or at the lowest possible cost. But we would welcome any donations to sustain this ministry.

SUPPORT

The desire of EOS Collective is to give everyone the opportunity to hear and know the person of Jesus Christ and the love and forgiveness God offers. EOS Artists do this through discussing life's big questions within our culture and communities, using the Creative Arts and the imagination.

Our aim is to be funded by the church for the church. EOS Collective plans to develop new creative resources, equip and enable churches to present Christ to the people of Wales in gripping and imaginative ways.

Lio and Lois work as Community Artists and Creative Evangelists. They are funded in part by their local churches (Cardiff Welsh Evangelical Church and The Bridge Church, Pontprennau) with the remainder coming through the generous donations of supportive churches, organisation, trusts and individuals. For this reason, Lio and Lois does not charge a set fee for the services she provides. There is a suggested rate of £160 per day (plus travelling expenses), however this is completely voluntary.

We appreciate that every church situation will vary and we wouldn’t want cost to hinder opportunities for evangelism and gospel work, and so you are welcome to give more or less than this, as you are able. For those who wish to partner with EOS Collective and support us on a more regular basis, details can be found here ->

"Rwy'n cymeradwyo Lois Adams yn galonnog i chi. Mae hi'n was-galon, yn weithiwr efengylaidd i'r deyrnas. Mae hi'n ddwyieithog ac yn hynod fedrus. Mae hi mewn gwaith efengyl am y tymor hir. Rwyf wedi bod yn dyst i'w diwydrwydd, ei chreadigrwydd a'i pharodrwydd i weithio caled, mewn tîm neu ar ei phen ei hun, yng ngwasanaeth eraill, eglwysi (nad ydynt yn eiddo iddi hi) a'n cymuned anghenus Mewn dyddiau pan fydd rhai yn ystyried bod diffyg gweithwyr efengyl rydym yn awr yn cael cyfle i gynnal yn ariannol a yn weddigar rhywun y mae Duw wedi ei godi i’r pwrpas hwn.”

"Un o'r pethau mae llawer o eglwysi yn ei ffeindio'n genedl yw creu cysylltiadau ag eraill er mwyn cael y neges mewn ffordd ffyddlon i ffresh. undeb beth yma mewn ffyrdd creadigol.

Rhodd Duw i'r eglwys yng Nghymru yw Lois Adams. Mae hi'n gallu ein helpu ni i adeiladu pontydd gan ddefnyddio'r Celfyddydau i lawer o'n cyfoedion.

Planned and curated so professionally, by Lois Adams, and with such enthusiasm and confidence, it was greatly appreciated by all involved with its staging and delivery. The public who attended the exhibition and evening events voiced impressed comments about the whole event and the video and photographic records made by Lois have been subsequently used to continue discussion on this theme which is so relevant in today’s society.

Lois conducted guided tours through the exhibition and these were totally engaging and informative and her pleasant and relaxed approach encouraged discussion and comment from all her groups. During evening events Lois spoke clearly and thoughtfully to large groups which were well attended. I cannot speak more highly of this talented and gifted young woman.

September, 2023

Bu Lois yn gweithio gyda ni am 5 mis yn paratoi ar gyfer ein gwaith allgymorth eglwysig dros 4 diwrnod yng Ngŵyl Lyfrau’r Gelli. Byddai miloedd o bobl yn mynd heibio i'n stondin ac roedd angen rhywbeth trawiadol a hefyd i'w tynnu i mewn i drafodaethau dyfnach.

Llwyddodd Lois i ddatblygu gyda ni y cysyniad o “berthyn” – mewn lleoliad daearyddol, hunaniaeth a ffydd. Cawsom arddangosfa fendigedig a ddyluniodd Lois a'i hongian ar ein cyfer ac roeddem hefyd yn gallu rhoi diodydd poeth am ddim i bobl wrth iddynt weld yr arddangosfa.

Roedd Lois yn wych i weithio gyda hi ac roedd yn egni positif yn ein gwaith allgymorth. Roedd hi'n fyfyriol, gan gymryd ein syniadau i mewn, ac roedd ar gael i wirio'r meddyliau oedd gennym ni fel eglwys. Cymerodd Lois ran mewn ffordd greadigol yn ein 2 wasanaeth eglwys ac arhosodd gyda ni trwy gydol ein 4 diwrnod allgymorth.

"Roeddem yn ddiolchgar iawn o allu cyflwyno ymweliad arddangosfa ‘Merched y Beibl’ fel rheswm a chyfle i amrywiaeth o blant a phobl i ymweld â’r capel, nifer ohonynt erioed wedi bod yn yr adeilad o’r blaen. Y caffaeliad mwyaf i’r wythnos yn ddi-os oedd Lois ei hun – ei ffordd agored, hwyliog o siarad efo pawb a’i hawydd i gyflwyno ac arddel ei ffydd ym mhopeth mae’n ei wneud. Amcangyfrifir fod oddeutu 400 wedi dod i weld yr arddangosfa yn ystod ei chyfnod yn y capel. Diolchwn am bob un ohonynt, gan weddïo y bydd ffrwyth i’r hadau a blannwyd."
